Americans are celebrating Columbus Day today. (And we should always
remember that Nick spent time Chicago, and that Joe Reese probably hails
from the States, too.) So, to all of our neighbours to the south, I hope
you had/are having a good holiday!

Thanks, Greer. Just know that Columbus Day is pretty much a non-event for most
of the US. There are certainly cities where it IS a big deal (New York City has
a great parade) but for most of us it just means the post office is closed.
I've never had the day off in my entire working life.
Perhaps the problem is that Minneapolis needs more Italians. <g>
