Actually, watching the ustream recording
(http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/16783348), one of the winners of the
Best Related Works category gave Susan a special thank you and said some
very kind words. Not related to FK, of course, but it was so very nice
to see that other fans outside our FK community appreciated her as much
as we did.
That clip is just shy of the 2hr30min mark, for those interested in
seeing what was said. Make sure you have kleenex handy.

Susan was indeed a special person, and I'm glad I had the chance to meet her
several times. Indeed, she was incredibly kind and helpful to me when I started
writing fanfic and putting out a few fanzines.
But---she didn't originate that clever tag line. No one knows who did, but it's
been around for quite a while in various forms. I will forever associate it
with Susan, though.
