Gary Farmer is my favorite Captain of them all. Thinking back different
seasons, I have the feeling that in the first season the precinct was the
smallest. And I have wondered if there is any other reasons for my feelings
than that the relationships between Schanke, Nick and Stonetree were
non-formal.

I also like Captain Stonetree above the other two.
I think it relates to the fact that there were inklings early in the season
that he thought there was something odd about Nick.
It never was expanded upon ... but it was there.
