The same thing happened to my Yahoo account last year, so I sympathize. Too bad the Enforcers can't be set on the hacker-spammer! <eg> McL ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 13 Feb 2011 11:26:46 EST From: LDukie913@a....... Subject: Re: FK Sports... Acutally, I do own part of a football club... the Green Bay Packers. Of course since Nick had most recently (before Toronto) lived in Chicago if anything he would be a Bears fan. I don't remember any references in FK to football but they did mention baseball a couple of times. Jeanette has a line about baseball making "eternal life feel even longer" that I love. And of course the Twilight vampires love baseball. Were there any FK references to any sport other than Baseball and of course wrestling? Hmmm, the episode where the Barber (title escapes me - it's the one with the fairy dust quote by Lacroix) tears his victims apart: wasn't the male in the couple right at the beginning a footballer? ------- "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools talk because they have to say something." Yes, the man torn apart by the Barber in "Bad Blood" was a football player (although probably not a pro). And don't forget the pro hockey enforcer (lower case 'e') who played a more substantial role in "Hearts of Darkness", Todd "Hammerhead" Marnecki. Capt. Reese was a Toronto Maple Leafs hockey fan, but definitely not a fan of Marnecki. Toronto has a professional football team, by the way, the CFL's Toronto Argonauts. Like the Blue Jays, the Argos never got a mention in FK. But they are probably North America's oldest football team, established in 1873. CFL football has some notable differences from NFL football. The main ones are that the CFL field is larger (110 yards), and the game has only 3 downs, not 4 as in the US.
