If there's another extant anywhere, please hook me up. Skiffy (SyFy) deleted the FK board in the next to last upgrade. I wrote Admin and asked what was required to reinstate it and was told if ten fans requested its return it would be so. I asked everyone I knew to please write to them and ask for reinstatement and it was done, but the damage had been done. Some board members haven't returned since the great deletion and there's been no way to contact them again. Some of them were deleted along with the 'upgrade' and they moved on elsewhere, or so I assume. Not trying to toot my own horn here, but SyFy killed an active board. Now if they kill the board it will be putting it out of its misery. There's little or no day-to-day activity there now since it was revived. I think I enjoy it more every time I watch it. Each time, I come away from it with new perspectives, and I notice things I've never noticed before. For instance, just last night, I was watching I Will Repay, and when Schanke comes in with the flowers, Nick plucks the tip of one of the white ones and holds it for about five minutes. I never noticed that before, but definitely found it intriguing, since it looked like the same type of flower that features so prominently in Be My Valentine. Not sure on that, though. I think it would be interesting to see what a younger person would make of this show today. When I was rewatching the original Star Trek on youtube, the most interesting comment I ever read was written by a 15 year-old who had only ever seen the latest film and was confused at something on the original show because it was so different from what she'd seen in the movie. Hopefully the next generation will comment on FK and let us know what they think of it.
