Subject: Re: Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter (and Forever Knight) I just bought the book "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter" for one of my nephews. It is one of the new genre of literature that combines established piece of literature with fantasy/ horror elements. Other examples are "Pride and Prejudice with Zombies" and "Jane Slayre". This Abraham Lincoln book is the first that I have seen that takes the writings of a real person and melds it with a Fantasy/Horror element. But it seems to me that we actually have the precursor of this genre in Forever Knight with the flashbacks of LaCroix almost bringing Hitler over as a vampire. I find myself contemplating how this genre would be worked into Forever Knight if it were being produced today. It would be a very interesting idea for an episode (or a fan fic) to create a story about the Enforcers basically losing control of vampiric anonymity and the aftermath. Or what about a story about Nick serving in the Union Army during the Civil War but having to hide from President Lincoln who was killing all vampires? Subject: Re: Forever Knight Playlist Being more of a Nick and Nat Packer, I've come up with a few titles that always reminded me of them. There are more, but I just couldn't think of them right now. I'll only enclose two of the songs lyrics. Lady Lady, I'm your knight in shining armor and I love you You have made me what I am and I am yours My love, there's so many ways I want to say I love you Let me hold you in my arms forever more You have gone and made me such a fool I'm so lost in your love And oh, we belong together Won't you believe in my song? Lady, for so many years I thought I'd never find you You have come into my life and made me whole Forever let me wake to see you each and every morning Let me hear you whisper softly in my ear In my eyes I see no one else but you There's no other love like our love And yes, oh yes, I'll always want you near me I've waited for you for so long Lady, your love's the only love I need And beside me is where I want you to be 'Cause, my love, there's somethin' I want you to know You're the love of my life, you're my lady! And I love You So And I love you so, The people ask me how, How I've lived 'till now, I tell them I don't know! I guess they understand, How lonely life has been, But life began again, The day you took my hand! And yes, I know, How lonely life can be, The shadows follow me, And the night won't set me free! But I don't let . . . The evening get me down, Now that you're around, Me! And you love me too, Your thoughts are just for me, You set my spirit free, I'm happy that you do! The book of life is brief, And once a page is read, All but love is dead, That is my belief! And yes, I know, How lonely life can be, The shadows follow me, And the night won't set me free! But I don't let . . . The evening get me down, Now that you're around, Me! Love Story Can't Help Falling In Love My Woman, My Woman, My Wife M. L.
