1) Rule #31 - best to let sleeping vampires lie (especially when they are
Divia)
2) After 3 years of such confidence, it is interesting to see LaCroix uneasy
and unsure in the moments before he finds the body of the Egyptian.
3) Vachon either has the best or the worst poker face. I'm not positive which
way I interpret it. It is perfectly blank...yet he does appear guilty as hell
when he uses it.
4) I love the scene in the holding tank where everyone is pressed up against
the wall as far from LaCroix as they can get.
5) How did Divia get into and out of the elevator car to attack Urs?? Throgh
the roof-hatch that all elevators in TV-land have? There never has been a sign
that FK vampires can dissolve into smoke as the old legends claim.
6) Kathryn Long reminds me of another actress I've seen. I can't place her.
Part of me says it is an actress in a current TV show. Another part says there
is a similarity to Catherine Disher...which may be a similar hairstyle and
facial structures.
7) Even LaCroix has his limits. Out there a ways, but he has them. An
incestuous relation with his daughter is simply too much.
8) Except for the very end of Last Knight, I am not sure that LaCroix and Nick
were ever closer emotionally then they are shown in this episode.
9) I think Vachon committed suicide, he leaped at Tracy deliberately to impale
himself. He wasn't attacking her, he was determined to kill himself. Does
anyone think differently?
10) It was a nice touch that Tracy buries Vachon with Screed.
11) Interesting symbology at the Loft when Divia attacks Nick. Leaving him
unconscious, apparently dying atop a painting of the sun. Doubtlessly she got
some satisfaction from that.
12) Divia could give deadly little Miho from the Sin City tales a serious run
for her money. I like the twist that the most powerful vampire we ever meet in
the series is so petite and looks so "innocent" until she flashes her true
colors.
13) in the Raven after Divia is staked, as she dies, we see LaCroix from her
perspective on the floor. Behind Nigel, they obviously put one of the Raven's
overhead spotlights, glaring down like the sun onto Divia. That can not be an
accident.
