Subject: Episode Discussion: Francesca
1) this episode's central theme, a person being the reincarnation of a vampire,
is one of the most unique ideas in the series. The gender-shift just adds to
the originality of the script.
2) Nigel directed. cool.
3) At this point, the production pretty much knew it wasn't coming back for
another season, right? Fuller, the reporter that Tracy brushes off, was really
just a creation of this episode then? Not an attempt to add another
semi-regular character?
4) the actor playing Frank has very large, I would say feminine, lips. I
wonder if that was an aspect of his physical appearance that they were looking
for in casting. I must say his acting skills are strong; he probably got the
role just on skill, but the combination of his physical size and solidness of
build coupled with the lips is the perfect look for the character he is playing
in his episode.

6) OK, what flavor of cheese covers that Vachon knows details of Nick's life
like what alias he was using at various points in history? I mean, I assume the
two men talked....but what is the odds that Vachon knows that Nick was Nicholas
Chevaliar in the 18th century?
7) anybody else watch the scenes with Maurice Dean Wint in drag and start
hearing the music to The TimeWarp?
8) "Do you hear music?" Nice twist ending.
