(2) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sat, 20 Mar 2010 00:56:08 -0000 From: Lorin <vachesang@1.......> Subject: PRAYER: My uncle - sad news. The hospital rang today, they have now run some more biopsies and tests and have confirmed that my uncle has a form of leukemia. It is terminal and very advanced. He has gone downhill very very fast over the last couple of days, and they just called the family in. He is very weak and the doctors say he is unlikely to make it past the weekend. He is now on morphine and it's just a matter of time. My parents have gone up to London to be with him. I have to stay home as my daughter has a school trip tomorrow that she has been looking forward to for months; I've told her that her great-uncle is very sick but she doesn't know how bad it is. I'll break the news to her on Sunday when she gets home, there's no point in upsetting her before the trip. I don't want her to see him, he's not the uncle she knows and he wouldn't want her to see him like that. I just hope that his passing is peaceful and pain-free. I'm so glad my parents will be with him. For those who have kept my uncle and family in their prayers - thank you.
