1) does anyone remember, when this episode was broadcast, was it a surprise to
find Janette in it...or had that fact been "outed" during the promotionals?
2) "Ah, yes, the joys of parenting strays. We really must compare notes one
day," LaCroix to Janette.
If LaCroix parents strays, he does it with discretion. His two "favorites"
are both from pedigree bloodlines.
3) "LaCroix, make sure there is always a place for strays like us to come"
Janette. Beneath that beautiful hardened killer shell, there is someone who
remembers what is to be frightened and alone.
4) I see Janette shares Nick's preference for old cars with their big trunks.
5) Janette de Brabant. Interesting that Janette is "hiding" using Nick's family
name. Could be that she wants to keep him close even when he is far away.
6) When Janette comes into the Morgue...you'd think Natalie had seen a vampire
or something from her expression.

7) Anybody got a brick of cheese to explain why Natalie keeps painkillers around
the morgue? Ain't like her normal clientele...or even her extraordinary
clientele...need them.
8) what does LaCroix say to Nick after the comment about losing a daughter and
gaining a son? Sounds French, but my very, very limited vocabulary is being
exceeded.
9) Ger's son is Patrick. Cool.

I believe he's referring to the way Nick continues to "stray" from him.

Leftovers from her knee surgery a few episodes back?

I think he says "Plus ça change, Nicolas, plus ça change". An
abbreviation of "plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose": The more
things change, the more they stay the same.
