Asian male cybergeek? Check! OK, that's enough stereotypes for one episode. Roll cameras. 2) Nick the brick. Is he really that clueless? Or just that shameless about ignoring doing paperwork? 3) I wonder if the Caddy's roof wasn't fitted properly or if there were bad fumes in the car for some reason. Both Ger and Lisa have the windows cracked a bit...yet both seem cold. Hmmm...wonder if it was just that with the windows all the way up, they got condensation on the glass from having the actors plus the camera crew wedged in the car. 4) "Bored cops get careless. Which might not mean much to you, but could be disastrous to your partner." Natalie. I like that the writer thought of this angle. That a distracted Nick puts Tracy in danger. 5) Natalie is often the mirror-image of LaCroix in story structures. LaCroix is Nick's advisor and "explainer" for things vampiric. Natalie does the same for those human elements that Nick appears to have forgotten or downplayed the importance of across his many centuries. 6) I like the scene where Nick hypnotizes Detective Linda Fulford in front of Tracy and Natalie calls him on it. 7) How could Nigel have done any better a job with the lines he spouted about the quality of the blood he brought to Nick? The Sommelier of the UnDead. 8) "How quaint." Between choice of words and the absolutely flat delivery, I don't think LaCroix could have been any less interested in the computer game Nick is so infatuated with. I wonder why LaCroix is so out-of-hand dismissive. Having lived so long, you'd think he'd be more open to at least learning about new things, to simply keep from being bored. 9) from broad daylight to the interior of a church. Kind of from frying pan to fire for a vampire. 10) "If you are going to play a game, you should know who you are playing against." Not quite a Schwarzenegger quip...but not bad.
