This was to heighten the dramatic tension. He's a vampire, of course he's
going to heal and regain his memories.

See reason above. All the pressure just made Tracy whine. I wanted to
smack everyone in these scenes.

So how does she know who he is...? There's a mystery here.

IMHO this is *Nick's* dream. His subconscious is trying to tell him what
he is, give him some hints about his past, and tell him what he needs.

Something he rarely does when he's in his right mind.

People often retain skills. A surgeon could still tie one-handed knots
when he was amnesiac and did it unconsciously. Driving doesn't go away.
Could you be confusing amnesia with brain damage?

The scene when Nick was shot had both of them in it.

I interpreted it as a bit of happiness at being needed. Nigel truly acted
that beautifully. I saw vulnerability and need in his portrayal as well as
fear of rejection.

I never saw the season 3 changes as watering down LaCroix...I saw it as
character development. Nick was going to pursue mortality if it killed him,
as he did, and I believe that Uncle finally accepted that after 800 years.
I put it up to concern and protecting the identity that Nick wanted to
maintain there in Toronto.
One of my Top Ten Favourite episodes.

I love how we try to justify what comes down to lousy consistency in this show.
"Night in Question" isn't particularly bad except for the scene of Nick eating
soup unless he threw it up later, as they spent season 1 establishing that Nick
can't eat. The worst one though is that one we were discussing before, the
vampire who doesn't know she's a vampire and therefore can go out in sunlight,
an episode I haven't watched a ton of times because it's too stupid for words.
It would be fine if it was early season 1 and they were establishing their
vampire canon, which is that the vampire is psychological, but they did the
very opposite and said it was a medical condition. But I guess it's okay to
blow that out of a water to make for a particular confusing case.
"Night in Question" also has one of my favorite "dumb Tracy" moments, her
agreeing to meet the shooter without back-up or even telling anybody. She only
slightly beat that by going undercover as a hooker and not telling anybody.
What if she got a slew of johns that weren't the serial killer she was looking
for?

Personally, having gone to theatre in the UK, Ireland, and in Canada,
typically what we'd do is locate the stage door ahead of time and plan a
safe route to it after the show. And then hope the actors come out and
sign stuff. Some actors will kinda duck their heads and flee, but many
will stop and talk to fans and sign autographs and such. Generally, as
long as the fans are respectful, it's been cool all the times I've done
this, even with the madness that surrounded David Tennant starring in
Hamlet in London back in January (they had extra security and barriers,
but that's very unusual in London).
I'd say ask the theatre if you're not sure, but generally, hanging out
at the stage door is okay, s'long as you don't act like a crazy stalker,
you should be fine. And if you're lucky, you'll get a pic something

As the others have said, Ger's generally pretty cool about meeting fans,

From the rules which Don posts regularly:
"Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post in
replying. If you have more than one point to answer, then you may
quote the relevant four lines for that point also."
We've had several instances recently where the entire previous was quoted.
This takes up unnecessary room in the discs which hold posts for the digest.
If you feel that 4 lines isn't enough to make it clear what you're answering,
paraphrase the rest.
As Stonetree once said in a different context, "there are not suggestions."
