Chiller Network listings show a Forever Knight marathon on Labor Day.
I am so happy for all of you who are going to be able to see it. My new
apartment came with free satellite TV but it is thru DISH instead of
Direct,
so no Chiller for me.

The fact that Chiller picked up FK could have something to do with Ger
showing up on that Hottie poll. It may be a publicity placement....

Ger does the daily voice over promos for BBC World News America.

And, Being Human, a drama about a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost sharing a flat
in Bristol also airs on the network. The vampire and the werewolf have elements
in their storylines that resemble those of Nick.

McLisa and our List Gardener has asked me to step in when they don't with a
friendly reminder of the rules.

One of them is that posts must be FK related or related to us as fans.

As much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE Torchwood and other British programs, posts related
to BBC America or the BBC unless it is concerning Forever Knight.

Thanks!

As Libratsie said, Forkni-l has a strict rule against off-topic posts without
the permission of the listowners. This is the oldest rule, and it was put in by
our founder, Jean, because she was getting complaints about offtopic posts. That
includes other vampire shows, unless it's a direct comparison to FK. There's a
list for vampires and related topics, vampyres@the-institute.net. I'll be happy
to find out how to sub for anyone who would like to know. (It's been so long
since my original sub -- I used to be a listowner ther -- that I've forgotten
how. It's different software from Forkni-l.)

I didn't get the original post, or I'd have written sooner.

I love Being Human. There's one scene especially that reminds me of FK. The
self-loathing werewolf tells his vampire room mate, "We're not fit to live among
decent people!" To which the vampire replies, in a tone that would do credit to
LaCroix, "Then it's a good job we don't." :)

I can access satellite listings up to Labor Day (in the USA) and it's
doesn't show an FK marathon but a marathon of a series called Spine
Chillers. From where did this information originate? Is there a link,
please? I posted the marathon info on the FK SyFy board.
