We need to post a change or something to grab peoples attention. Nick distracts him a little, but Tracy gets herself free and away. She ain't some "damsel in distress". The writers did remember she is a trained officer who earned her badge without relying upon her family connections. That's what I really like about Tracy; she not just dumb, blonde, eye-candy. Subject: RE: Hello? >People have said that off and on since 1996 ... always wrong <g> Boy, I hope so. I ain't going anywhere myself...but I know it is all I can do to watch an episode every 2 weeks. Writing fan fiction or anything else is purely delusional right now. > I've been tied up ....all summer. The summer is always quieter. Folks can get outside and do things...plus I don't know about anyone else but watching FK in broad daylight feels odd. I don't have the "only watch in the deep of the night" rule that I have for Escape from New York...but I always seem to only be in the mood for FK when the sun has gone down....which gets really close to my normal bedtime during the summer months. I agree totally...I feel somewhat weird watching it at lunchtime. Also, I fear trying to get my boyfriend into it because he has disliked every other show that I have shared with him (Lost, Firefly, Buffy). So, that leaves me with watching FK at night when my boyfriend is not around, which is pretty rare. I know I don't contribute much to the episode discussions, but I still enjoy reading them. Lisa K. I'm still here. I just don't get the time to post as much as I used to. I wonder, too, how many of us are keeping in touch through other forums such at Live Journal, Facebook, and Twitter, rather than posting here? I did go up to Stratford last weekend to see GWD in Julius Caesar and MacBeth. Both were well worth the trip, and I wore my FK shirt on Friday when I did my shopping tour of Stratford. I didn't get any "I remember that show" comments, but many people stopped me so they could read the back of the shirt and they asked me what it was from. It gave me a good opportunity to push the DVDs. Most people have minds like concrete: mixed up or permanently set. ________________________________ --- On Tue, 7/14/09, Phillips, Tim <Tim.Phillips@s.......> wrote: > It is aweful quiet.
