1) Nick this season so far is a bit more forceful toward everyone. He was
tossing Vachon around last episode...this time he's man-handling Bruce. I
think they started writing him darker in this season.

2) Button? Glad that one didn't catch on the FK fan community. The Perks
is so much "classier" than the "Buttons".

3) Nice parallels between Bruce as an undercover copy and Nicholas living as
a "undercover vampire". The need for secrecy. The dangers of discovery.

4) When Nick and Tracy arrive at the building where Bruce has J.T. bent over
the railing and is trying to get him to admit to killing Cass...Nick hears him
on the roof above and reacts. What is interesting is that Tracy reacts
simultaneously to Bruce's voice...and Nick is behind her so she isn't reacting
to Nick's reaction. You are left with the impression that Tracy heard what
Nick's vampire-enhanced hearing picked up.

5) I realize I'm being overly picky...but no one who knows a damn thing about
shooting a pistol would roll the weapon over onto its side the way Bruce does
when he is pulling down on Stu at the end. Sometimes I hate the "trends" that
Hollywood starts.

6) I like that Tracy extracts herself from having Stu's razor against her throat.
Nick distracts him a little, but Tracy gets herself free and away. She ain't
some "damsel in distress". The writers did remember she is a trained officer
who earned her badge without relying upon her family connections.

It is aweful quiet.
I suspect in a few years, there will not be a forum anymore...at least an active
one.
Everyone will have drifted into something else.

People have said that off and on since 1996 ... always wrong <g> We get
quiet, then we get active again.

I've been tied up in musical theater all summer. Well, not literally tied up
although I did get tangled in my skirt several times in 'Oliver!' Now I'm
running sound for the first Arkansas production of 'Rent' and desperately
trying NOT to get tangled up in all the special effects equipment.

The local sci fi group is hoping to have a "vampire tv marathon" later this
year. I plan to show "Valentine" and "Fever" from FK.
