If LaCroix's image had been captured, it might initially been overlooked. However, I'm sure as is the case today, the images were studied even at the time with a fine tooth comb for evidence as to what happened. Today, historians - professional and otherwise - still study the images of the tragedy. Sooner or later, someone would notice there was a flying man. Why do I get this vision of her with a magnifying glass late at night, bent over old news photographs, looking for images of that strange man she saw once (kind of a White Whale thing)? Tracy and Nat are so fascinated by those men, that they don't actually want to forget them. Hm, after writing this I remembered that LaCroix hypnotized them to forget things, but perhaps that is because he is so powerful (or not so atractive). I loved this concept of two outsiders living in abandoned church and I am happy that they didn't started to dig too deep in that lost boys theme (Vachon, Bourbon, Urs, Screed). I looked from dictionary that a carouche is a French name for a fish called crucian carp, but I dont know if that was actually in script writers mind when they started to call vampires like Screed as carouches. I have always little bit wondered Nick's hard words to Vachon in the church. He could just have discussed things in a more polite way, for me it looked too harsh and not very typical behavior for Nick. But it has it's dramatic points. Urs: This name is for me an enigma. Urs is a German variant for Latin name Ursus (meaning bear), so why she has a male name. But perhaps that is why we see him in Titanic standing on upper desk in open air. In that sense Hindenburg could have been a more safe alternative. And regarding the photographers, that is why they have the vampire variant of men in black, the enforcers :) Nevertheless it is amazing how much people can conclude about photos, think about the photos about Iran's missile experiment, where it was found that one of missile contrails was a product of photo manipulating.
