Dance by the Light of the Moon
-----------------------------------------
The scene with Anne stripping is good, but I always wince when those
"pearls" go everywhere. I wouldn't be keen on dancing with the chance of
loose beads ending up underfoot!

Nick is thoroughly miffed throughout much of this episode because both
Schanke and Nat are *very* quick to assume that he was engaging in
hanky-panky with Anne, the stripper, when in fact he was actually holding
back and working the case.

In the final scene with Anne, another guy shoots Nick after Nick "strangles"
Schanke. Schanke and Nick chase after him and Anne. But why does Nick chase
Anne (who is apparently unarmed) onto the rooftop, thus leaving Schanke to
chase after the guy with the gun all by himself? With partners like this,
who needs bad guys?

Dying to Know You
-------------------------
Gotta love Nick's messy page boy haircut in the flashbacks! :)

I wonder what other cases psychic Denise worked with Capt. Stonetree?

How much do you think the police department paid Denise? Or did her usual
psychic work pay well enough that she could work for the police "pro bono"?

False Witness
------------------
I love the *Canadian* courtroom scenes here. The judge and lawyers in their
robes and collars (but no wigs) is just right. Did they get to use a real
courtroom for this? The Canadian(?) coat of arms on the wall is pretty
elaborate for a prop. Apparently the judge should also be wearing a sash (

); I'd check with my brother the student-at-law on this, but I think his
schedule is pretty full at the moment.

For fun, here's a catalog of Canadian lawyers' robes and collars:

I think what they're actually wearing, though, for the black gowns are
university doctoral gowns (the kind people wear to convocation to receive
their PhD's); note the three black bars on the sleeves, which you can see in
the final courtroom scene:
