Subject: PRAYER - My mom (update)
So today when I met up with Dot to go visit mom, she was all telling
me how advanced mom's cancer is and that the likelihood of a good
prognosis was really really low. Apparently, it started when mom had
this cough in June and we both urged her to see a doc but she
wouldn't. Then when she did, they x rayed her and 'lost' the x ray.
Auntie bets it showed something on it like oh... CANCER.
If they had been professional we would have known *months* ago, and
now they can only treat her with radiation, steroids and chemo. I've
asked repeatedly why surgery isn't an option and my aunt, an R.N has
said it just spreads it and now it's so advanced and has spread so
much that it's not possible. So now we're just hoping she'll hang on
until the new cancer center opens
