I don't remember ever seeing Nick ride it.
Not sure if this is correct, but years ago I read somewhere that the Harley
did not work and was just there to make Nick look more edgy.<<
Are you sure it was a Harley? My memory is a little wonky because I am
undergoing treatment for thyroid cancer right now but wasn't it decided on the
list years ago that it was a British bike not a Harley? I am fairly certain
that Ger never rode it due to insurance issues but perhaps Rick Springfield
rode a motorcycle in the original pilot movie.

One of the most intriguing parts of this episode for me is when Nat
and LaCroix are discussing vampires and humans and he alludes to the
fact that vampires and humans cannot have physical intimacy.

No, he wasn't. I asked Ger about that when he appeared at Toronto
Trek in 1992.
He said their insurance wouldn't allow it.
That explains why not for any motion shots where we could see the
rider's face.
It doesn't explain why there were no long shots with a double.
