"The Fix" night shift / trouble opening cabinet / continuity ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Mon, 21 Jul 2008 10:41:49 -0500 From: "Stone, Barbara" <STONEB@g.......> Subject: "The Fix" night shift / trouble opening cabinet / continuity It seems to me that there is no need to explain Nick wanting to stay up long past the end of his shift. Even if he isn't high on that drug Natalie gave him, he would find it really hard to give up his first chance in 800 years to enjoy daylight. re: trouble opening cabinet. Oddly enough, in spite of all the times I've watched this ep, I never stopped to think that Nick's mortality was getting in the way of his opening the cabinet where Natalie kept the drug. Nice to be enlightened. Nevertheless, (moving from the sublime to the ridiculous) I had noticed the slight continuity error that occurs when Nick & Schanke are walking down the street and encounter the pretty woman. Watch the background: they pass the big yellow discount sign twice. I believe this episode may give some indication of how GWD must have performed the part of Malcolm Lowry (an alcoholic who suffered from the DTs) in _Goodnight Disgrace_. B.
