I just about laughed my tuchus off the first time I read this one. It's on Mel's FKfanfic.com site if you want to revisit it. Link: http://www.fkfanfic.com/fanfic/m/myev1943.txt. I'm sorry to hear you took a header and I'm glad Billie convinced you to push it further re: the catscan. Hope it comes out all right! Portia who has lost track of how long she has been around FORKNI-L...mid 90's? I know I found the lists after sending an LOC to an author found at Mel's archive; it was Kyer and she pointed me here -- my very first list!! The first and best. <big cheesy sincere grin> ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Jun 2008 13:51:00 -0700 From: Laurie of the Isles <laudon1228@y.......> Subject: Good News! After a bit of a paper chase at the hospital, my doctor called to tell me that my EEG came back negative for stroke or seizure. He said what probably happened was that whacking my head after fainting mildly concussed me, and that that caused the memory loss and loss of continence. So I don't have to worry about future attacks, and I've been cleared to drive. Which is a darned good thing, because I have an intake appointment with a new physician (specialist) down in Glendale tomorrow. (about a 90 mile one-way drive, with a change in altitude of about 4,000 feet.) So basically, YAY! :-D Laurie of the Isles http://1-mad-squirrel.livejournal.com/ "Dignity, always dignity."
