Does any one know the story or series this came from: jeannie I can't remember all of it, but I remember it was good, the part I remember was someone was tracking (I think) Nick, and they fought right outside of an old abandonded church, and he lost an arm, and went inside to hide from the sun, and landed in the baptismal and Nat found him and found his arm in the shadows and brought it to him and either stitched it back on or he held it on and it regenerated ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Feb 2008 19:42:28 +1030 From: jennii35 <jennii35@i.......> Subject: don't know the author Hi, I don't remember who wrote it, but is was called "Five Years Later" I think Dot ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Feb 2008 23:10:35 +1030 From: jennii35 <jennii35@i.......> Subject: klytaimnestra Is the author of this series...starting with "A conversation with a Vampire. This is the story where Nick lost his arm and slept in a baptismal font.....Dot ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Feb 2008 08:31:49 -0600 From: Roxana Elizondo <roxeliz@h.......> Subject: Re: story??? jeannie wrote: > I can't remember all of it, but I remember it was > good, the part I remember was someone was tracking (I > think) Nick, and they fought right outside of an old > abandonded church, and he lost an arm, and went inside > to hide from the sun, and landed in the baptismal and > Nat found him and found his arm in the shadows and > brought it to him and either stitched it back on or he > held it on and it regenerated Oh I know this story. I spent my whole weekend two weeks ago reading it for the first time and I loved it. It's the "Five Years Later Series" by Klytaimnestra. The parts you're talking about about from the last sections called "Five Years Later: Sierra Leone" and "Five Years Later: Jacob" but it wasn't Natalie that helped Nick. Was there ever a sequel to this? I'm thinking not but as long as it's the subject of conversation I thought I'd ask. Klytaimnestra's site can be found at: http://members.shaw.ca/klytaimnestra And dont' forget to check out "Nick, Nat, and Desire: A few conversations" which were a few conversations between Nick and Nat that couldn't quite fit into the story. It can be found at the FTP site as well as the whole story. Roxana ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Feb 2008 08:37:17 -0600 From: eowyn23@j.......
