And that is a good thing - as I'm sure most folks with agree.
Mr. Bennet's portrayal of Prince in LEXX is one excellent reason
to watch the series 3 and 4th seasons.

I'd believe that once you've been chased by an angry mob with
torches...you tend to error on the side of caution.
Also, one of the framing elements of FK is the idea that
vampires are generally held to be only "myth and legend". Assorted
fan-fictions have played with the idea of "vampires as public servants"
- where society was openly composed of mortals and vampires - but that
concept was never in the FK series. At the end of any given episode,
the writers needed to make sure that there was a plausible way that the
"secret" that vampires were real was maintained. Given that, Nick can
do nothing else aside be cautious as to who he really finally shows his
true nature to.

Yes, that could affect one's perspective. ;-)

The only reason to watch it, IMHO. But that's OT.

Yeah, my thoughts go down the same road basically. Nick's been
awfully open about his secret to women especially. But there was also
the guy who took care of his finances (in an episode yet to come up
in discussion).
These people were not only in danger themselves (enforcers, other
vampires etc) but it surely made Nick vulnerable to blackmail.

And another girlie POV regarding this ep: argh, Nick dressed in a
cardigan sporting a mustache. NO, the granddad outfit doesn't work
and I think it's one of the worst looks ever!
