McL's scenario wins my vote! "g" How nice to think all of the loss was just a "bobby ewing" dream. As for me, I think the series meant to convey that Nick and Nat were dead by the time the sun rose. Poor LaCroix, to spend the day with their corpses! I don't think the bodies would have horrified him, but spending the day contemplating the loss and the choices, including his, that led to such a dawn would have had him emerge a very dour and dangerous vampire at the end of that day. I can't remember who posted this, but I agree that he likely would become a terrible scourge without Janette and Nicholas to influence him. If Nat "turned" and awoke to find Nick dead, I wouldn't be surprised if she spent her first night setting both of their affairs in order and then calmly giving herself up to her last dawn, both in tribute to Nick and in order to join him. I can see her and LaCroix being civil to each other through that night, LaCroix perhaps assisting her in small ways for Nicholas' sake, but for the most part he would have left her to make her own decisions. Next Tuesday is the schedule day of discussion. A very Janette-centered episode for all the fans of the Lady Of The Knight.
