My belief, he let Nick live because he was his sire, his son and LaCroix
cared for him more than he should as he once said. My thought.

I don't remember if anyone has posted this before, but I just discovered that
AOL-TV has some on-demand FK episodes online for viewing. From what I can see,
 there are 24 eps available.

Here's the link:

It is advertiser supported, so you'll get an ad before the video starts.

Enjoy!

I will be sending "snail mail" cards to all on the list!
I think "real" cards are more meaningful and personal than Ecards!

No offense to the cyber-types who like to "E" everything but I still like the
sensation of holding something pretty and made of real paper at this time of year.

OK, I didn't see this, so if it's a repeat I
apologize. I was checking out Ger's Fan Club page and
there is a charity auction where he donated several
boxes of costumes for auction, many of the FK
episodes. Links below.

The auction (or at least part 1 of it) is already over. Some costumes were
auctioned of on ebay last month.

But you're in luck. The GWDFC has just started the second round.

Proceeds go to charity.

I was reading a director's blog where he was talking about his new movie,
Bridal Fever, filmed in Hamilton, Ontario. He also included some pictures of the
main cast, and in the background of one I swear is Nigel Bennett. I'm not sure
if he has an uncredited part in the movie, or if he just happened to be at the
bookstore (promoting a book?) where the picture was taken. Here's a link to the
 picture:

Here's a link to the blog for those who may want to read about the movie, but
note that there are some risque pictures on this site:

The section with Nigel's pic (I'd SWEAR that's him!) is titled "In Defense of
Divas" if you want to use the "Edit - Find" function.

Pessimist that I am. I have to concur with Nigel at cons. LC did stake Nick.
The original script for Last Knight ends the scebe with LC's voice saying,
"damn you, Nicholas!" and the stake plunging down, although we don't see it go in.

So, Nick would be dead or possibly reincarnated.

Nat might not be. The script didn't actually say sraight out that Nat was
dead. As originally shot, Catherine Disher made a point of moving after Nat lay on
the floor. Ger, who was directing, planned to show this, and the cut the
scene before we saw the stake at all. This would have left the ending much more
ambiguous than it actually is. I think Nat is either dead at the end or will come
across. Remember, the Ripper came across without LC's intending it.

Two possiblities:

1. Nat is now a vampire and adopted as a daughter of LC, who gets as much
grief from her as he ever did from Nick. She is also looking for a cure.

2. LC left Nat to her fate. She came across and is now trying to be a vampire
 without any formal training.

3. Janette felt everything through her connection as Nick's daughter in her
second vampire life. She found Nat and has taken her under her protection.

I can't see LC committing suicide, even though it was a common practice. I
think he went on and, without either Nick or Janette as restraining influences,
has become a dangerous vampire curmudgeon.

What I'd like to have happened is that Nick eventually came to on the sofa
after imbibing a bottle of curare from Nat's lab, which he had mistaken for her
latest protein drink. He found Schanke, staying over after another fight with
Myra, coming out of the shower and Stonetree on the phone, yelling for him to get
on in to the station now. Janette has left him a voicemail message to remind
him that he promised to escort her to the opera (she won't go near the ballet
with him, for obvious reasons). Meanwhile, LC is doing yet another monologue on
friendships gone awry from a radio left tuned to CERC.

McLisa, in a silly mood.
