This has always, with brief exceptions, been the most civilized, considerate, friendly list I've ever been on. I have never been on any other list where courtesy and tolerance towards other views have been as well upheld as they are by the list owners and members here. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 5 Nov 2007 19:55:37 -0600 From: eowyn23@j....... Secret guest > vampire star. Kyle Schmidt has grown on me as a vampire and as an actor. As far as the Tony character, I guess that even Lifetime thought we couldn't handle it, or that perhaps it would be too complicated for us to deal with. Since we're women. Or perhaps they didn't want to frighten away the guys from the series? I'd no idea Christina Cox was Joan. How obtuse am I? Your brothers sound dreadfully close-minded. So how do they view Spike TV? and ESPN? As MCP TV, by chance? (male chauvinist pig television) Knives cut both ways, you know. I find it odd that a network that is promoted as a women's network should be viewed as a Femi-Nazi network. They must be real pieces of work, your brothers. I once received a letter from Jerry Falwell calling me a Femi Nazi. I didn't like it very much. I won't say anything further here, although I did write a great deal more which I deleted. I enjoyed the most recent episode of Moonlight. I've been hoping that the new channel Chiller TV might bring Forever Knight back into the public eye once again. They are airing Night Gallery and the old version of the Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Werewolf and American Gothic and Good vs Evil and and Brimstone...and many other classics. I have Direct TV and have been enjoying this channel very much for all the old friends I've been revisiting. Perhaps it's just a forlorn hope, but wouldn't it be great to see it once again every day and welcome new fans? I've no idea if there is a chance in hell, just a hope it might show up again... I don't recall if that was a separate Lifetime series or another production company. I thought the Lola character of the most recent Moonlight episode made a far more interesting, LaCroix-ish "old vamp" than Josef. If the sereis lasts, I hope she returns. That's true, Tanya Huff has stated that there was a possibility that Tony might get his own series, but IIRC, that hasn't happened ... yet. I thought the Lola character of the most recent Moonlight episode made a far more interesting, LaCroix-ish "old vamp" than Josef. If the sereis lasts, I hope she returns. Josef is IMO such a bland and completely superfluous character that I wouldn't miss him if he never showed up again. But then I can't imagine ever having another master vampire that could match Nigel Bennett's LaCroix. I agree that Lola was a much better "older vamp" but I think it's unlikely she will return given the episode's ending. But then again, LaCroix returned to FK after being run through with a flaming stake, so I suppose anything is possible. It would have been great to see a character like her going head to head with LaCroix in FK. :) Boomer ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 6 Nov 2007 12:05:07 -0800 From: "jerezfino@y......." <jerezfino@y.......> Subject: Re: FORKNI-L Digest - 4 Nov 2007 to 5 Nov 2007 (#2007-108) Ramona Jackson <lexyladyjax@g.......> wrote: > That's bad news for me. And a very memorable role it was. She also showed up as a cop in a flashback in another ep ... I recall a scene with Schanke and the Caddy. Christina Cox was the cop who was writing a ticket because the Caddy was illegally parked. I recall Schanke digging through the contents of Nick's dash looking for the registration and discovering an old driver's license ... Close Call maybe?. In any case, I don't think I would recognize Christina in that one if I didn't know it was her. :) Boomer ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 6 Nov 2007 13:53:04 -0700 From: Walt <wdoherty5@c.......> Subject: Saints and Detectives > series? You can see that it is her if you know to look. The sound of her voice is the same, but her French accent is very different.
