Well, I've heard a rumor that Life Time isn't going to be continuing with this
series for another season, and if this is true I am bummed! I'm really
enjoying it! I've only seen Christina Cox in bit parts since I first saw her in FK,
but I have to say that her performance as Joan D'Arc really impressed me. I
think that ep may have been one of the first ones I saw of FK and her acting and
the historical and character resonaces (for both her character and Nick) really
impacted me. I'm also really enjoying her portrayal of the Vicky Nelson
 character -- a strong, self-possessed, but not hard-a$$ed woman.

I also really enjoy the guy playing Henry; he is also self-possessed and rather
arrogant, which rings true from the book character. I like seeing a vampire
played as moral and yet not apologetic. This is not a slur on Nick, because
those opposite characteristics are why I really love him; it was a very new concept
when I first started watching FK -- at least to me -- to see a moral and
remorceful vampire who didn't just bemoan his instinctive nature but actually tried
 to make a difference.

The partnership, trust and connection between Vicky and Henry? Let's just say
that the N&N side of me is very much enjoying it, while the UFfer in me is
really regretting that they didn't include the Tony character from the book....

Can I say again that **Life Time** is an incrediably strange venue for airing
this series? I also think it is somewhat regretable, because I think the show
would have a larger audience if it wasn't on what my brothers have a tendency
(still!) to call the Femi-Nazi channel -- in otherwords, a network predominantely
 viewed as a "woman's" network.
