Subject: TO Trivia for fic - Airport?
Do most people call the airport "Pearson," or "Toronto Pearson," or
something else? The official website (http://www.gtaa.com/en/home/)
seems to use "Toronto Pearson," but that may be an affectation for
legal or corporate reasons.
And is Pearson where you would land if coming to Toronto from
France? (A gander at Expedia suggests there are no direct flights.)
Back in the day, if I remember correctly, everyone said "Pearson" on
list and in fiction, but that may have changed, and the story for
which I'm asking this question is set well after third-season. I see
on the official website that the winter after FK was canceled, the
airport changed hands from Transport Canada to GTAA (Greater Toronto
Airports Authority).
