Subject: Last Act - thoughts
I never considered Nick as being suicidal, irresponsible maybe. He had a
tendency to think he could do what he wanted. However he was like that
before he became a vampire . Remember the Welsh girl.
I think he was telling the truth. He didn't understand why Erica or the
doctor would commit suicide. Janette told him that Erica had grown old -
an interesting statement on a being a vampire. As I recall she also got
rather impatient with him over his inability to understand and let it go.
So by the time Nick returned to Natalie, he was not very happy. Once
again he found himself the odd man out. Taking into account his own views
on his condition, and his frustration at work, it is not surprising that
for a few seconds he might wonder if Erica had the right answer.
However I doubt very much if he would have gone farther then he did -
testing with his finger to see what it felt like. After all he had got
back in time.
What I always wondered was did Erica contaminate Nick's thinking with her
talk of death and the sharing of her blood?

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post in
replying. If you have more than one point to answer, then you may
quote the relevant four lines for that point also.
3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. Your sig starts with the first thing you
write after the text. It includes all the lines under that, even
blank lines.
NOTE: If you have one of those providers that insists on putting an
ad after that, don't worry. The ad doesn't count.
COURTESY NOTE: Please sign all parts at the end with your name and
