Yes, folks, August 24 is the 1927th anniversary of the eruption of
Vesuvius and of our own dear Uncle's entry into vampirehood. As usual,
I am celebrating it by writing a Conversion Day story---my sixth!
These all started when Erika Wilson issued a challenge in 1998---write
a story about how Lacroix celebrates his special day.
Usually this has involved Nick presenting his master with some sort of
gift. This year, however, Nick isn't in the picture, and someone else
is doing the gifting. You'll have to read the story to find out who.
The story will be posted ot the fic list tomorrow. I'm sorry to not
hit the anniversary on the nose, but some contract editing came up and
I had to tear myself away from Lacroix (sob!) and deal with OSHA
regulations. (Who said technical writing wasn't exciting??)

I thought it was one of the Dance Series by Lorelei Sieja. It's one after
Nick looses his vision and after Tracy is brought over. I don't remember the
exact one.
