I couldn't pick a favorite character from the show, because I love how they all
interact together and couldn't approve of one of them being kicked off or
treated as less important. 'Course that makes the whole Schanke/Tracy thing a
little tricky; I enjoyed the Tracy eps, but I probably would have voted to keep
Schanke at the loss of Tracy. But then we probably wouldn't have had Vachon!

On the other hand, if I were to be plucked down into the FKverse and was
interacting with the characters, my answer would be a little different. My loyalty
probably would go first to Nick and subsequently Natalie, because I respect the
goal they are trying to achieve. I believe Nick really, truly wants to achieve
redemption by changing his metaphysical state: he no longer wants to be a
vampire. I believe that staying a vampire means facing compulsions and drives that
are monstrously strong and of a violent and destructive nature. So, I would
want to help him, and would want to be part of the Nick/Natalie team. Then I'd
embrace friendship with Schanke, and then Tracy. Then I'd buddy up as much as
possible with Vachon and Urs and Screed, with a healthy respect for their
natures. After them, I would offer a respectful deference to Janette; I love her
character (up there with Natalie), but I would be smart to keep a wary distance.
LaCroix, I would work against, while sec!
retly finding him awe-inspiring and just...um? Wow?? "g" Oh, and secretly
working against him, because he could snuff me out like an already guttering
candle....
As for the captains; Stonetree is number 1! "g" Then Reese, and then Cohen,
but I never really ranked them high in my interest, so I probably wouldn't seek
them out too much.

PS. OH! Almost forgot, the Caddie probably would rank even over Natalie and
Janette when exploring the FKverse!!!! LOL
