I've often wondered that myself. Nick flew from Toronto to Hamiliton in one
of the episodes. Hamilton is 43 miles from Toronto and takes 52 minutes
by car. It didn't appear to take him very long to get there and he
wasn't winded when he got there. .

Nick must have flown to shore when the titanic sunk. He also appears to
have the ability to move faster than the eye can see . He can also fly
slowly as show n when he carried the psychic.

Seeing as we are discussing fictional characters, they can fly and/or move as
fast as we want them to - which is a wonderful thing<g> It could be that they
are like "real life" humans in that some of us are faster than others.

I can't remember, but isn't there some mention of a blood bank or blood
donation center in FK? Does it have a name - like "The Red Cross" or "Blood
Bank of Ontario" - only fictional?

Also, if LaCroix were to open a blood bank, what do you think he'd call it?

Thanks,
Bonnie

Would The Old Country Buffet also have a Blue Blood Special?

My opinion, over the forty years of writing and livng; vampires have the
ability to move faster then the blink of an eye. They can stare and move
within the blink of an eye. It does use up their energy, but not to the
point of needing to feed, unless their doing battle then they need to feed
and quick.

The only blood bank I can remember is in Dark Knight and it's just the
hospital blood bank. There is mention of a blood center/artificial blood
factory in Susan Garret's book, though.

LaCroix came from Rome, they had their own Gods, not like the Hebrews, so
crosses or anything in the area will not affect him.

Don't remember the whole title, sorry. I said confessional because I =
was raised a Catholic, don't practice it. I believe in other spirits =
and science. Anyway, they have always said it wa a place for all to =
come and confess; all are welcomed. My belief, he had enough faith in =
him to face it and feel somewhat comfortable. Stay safe.

But Lacroix is affected by the cross in "Sons of Belial". He clearly
feels uncomfortable when Vanderwal moves it around. (And he shrinks back
when Nick wields it at him in "Killer Instinct" - and this is just an
improv , not even a blessed one)
Also, why would Divia be affected by an ancient symbol that didn't
belong into her religious world (although the Roman deities and beliefs
were manifold and included Egyptian ones like Isis)?

Symbols of light seem to affect them all (i.e. the menorah in Partners
of the month) but the degree seems to vary. Another one of FK's
inconsistencies, I suppose.

Don't forget the popular fast food option - Nascar drivers, runners,
bicyclists, etc.

As for take out, wouldn't Natalie get tired of picking up all the empty
containers?
