The equivalent of poking a sleeping Lacroix with a stick --
I haven't received any posts for some time, and was just wondering if the list
was experiencing problems. Sort of a test post.
Missing the heyday of FK acutely this evening for some reason. Might be
because I was ten-plus years younger...naaaaw. :-D

I know and you are right, it's hidden really well for Anne actually has sued
some people who write.
I know of only one FK/VC crossover but forget where I found it, sorry.

That's all I've found. There was another hidden secret site but it's down

I have been really into Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles again lately
(re-reading all the books).
I was just able to read some old VC fanfic that a friend did and it
was great.
I know it isn't allowed on the fic list here, and Anne Rice has kind
of put the kabosh on it, but does anyone know if there are any
already written and sitting on someone's hard drive fics out there.
To keep this FK, has anyone ever written a cross over? That would
fit so well. The characters are very similar and the universes are
also quite similar.
Myself, I even recently wrote two FK songfics based on songs from the
now gone musical "Lestat". The lyrics and the sentiments fit
perfectly with Nick and the gang.
So anyway... if anyone knows of any VC fic, or VC/FK crossover fic,
could you please contact me off list?

FORKNI-L RULES
1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST MAY BE
PERMANENT.
2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post in
replying. If you have more than one point to answer, then you may
quote the relevant four lines for that point also.
3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. Your sig starts with the first thing you
write after the text. It includes all the lines under that, even
blank lines.
NOTE: If you have one of those providers that insists on putting an
ad after that, don't worry. The ad doesn't count.
COURTESY NOTE: Please sign all parts at the end with your name and
address. Not all mailers show the original poster of listmail in the
headers.
4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to

Subject: ADMIN: Forbidden Fiction
It is absolutely, without exception, forbidden to post FanFic
crossovers with written fiction on these lists without the express
permission of the author who owns the characters.
It is equally forbidden to post links to fanfiction, FK related or
not, that uses characters against the expressed wishes of the authors
who own those characters.
There is no room for discussion or argument.
I apologize for being curt, but I'm catching a plane in two hours and
have little time to spend on this. When next I have Internet access I
will have been traveling for several hours and will no doubt be
grouchy because of it. I will deal summarily with any violations of
this mandate.
