I've been following the Caledonia case on the news. I don't know if I can see
any correlation at all with Blackwing. In Blackwing, it was a proposed mall that
was the conflict; in Caledonia, it's proposed condos. In Blackwing, it was the
Mississauga Indians, who belong to the Anishnabe (aka Ojibway or Chippewa or
Saulteurs). In Caledonia, it's Mohawks of the Six Nations.

Nevertheless, every time I hear of this story, I do think of Blackwing . . .

Hello.

In the digest that dropped a couple days ago, someone had asked if Nick had
mentioned leaving Chicago when they put lights in Wrigley field, and someone
else replied that it was and gave the next line from Janette.

I don't recall the episode that was from, and was wondering if anyone could
tell me that? I'd like to watch for that particular dialogue when I watch
it next time.

Also, although I've never been to Wrigley, this baseball fan was in her
final practicum for her college program when Wrigley got lights and had it's
first night game, so that was only in the summer (Aug, ?) of 1988, so I'd
guess it likely that TO was Nick's next residence. I think the rest of the
ball parks got lights in the 40's &/or 50's, but Wrigley fought against that
for decades. So in case anyone was using that reference for a fanfic or
something, yeah, Wrigley getting lights was pretty recent at the time of FK.

Back to lurking now.
  hugs,
    -Micki

You can rent seasons 1 and 2 from Netflix in the
States.
