I haven't felt like saying anything, but my aunt has been fairly active in
teaching focusing in Afghanistan and Pakistan. (http://www.focusing.org/ for
more info. In fact, if you go to the site, scroll down and click on
Afghanistan, the second article is written by her and has a pic of her.)
She's over there again, and sending lovely emails back on how one of the
secretaries can't return to his home village because there's been killing on
that road and the like. We don't really like her going, but it's her choice
and she's doing a lot of good over there, so.... But now there's rioting
going on in Kabul, which is where she's currently located. The usual "death
to Americans!" stuff. She's lived off and on in Pakistan for a fair part of
my life, so she knows how to keep herself from being noticed too much, but
it still scares me. Maybe I'm freaking too much, but {shrug}

Can anyone make me a good copy of the first ep of the 2nd season of Slings &
Arrows called, Season's End?
I have the other eps, but i don't have that one. Yeah i know Ger isn't in
it, but i'd still like to see it.

Yes, I think the idea of discussing the episodes on the list is a great one!
Not being a livejournal type either, I think this list is *the* most
appropriate place for such a discussion (not that there's anything wrong
with discussing FK anywhere, anytime, anyhow). It should indeed liven
things up.
Oh, and I'm with McLisa--let's start at the beginning, with "Dark Knight".

Does anybody know around what time of year the episode Fever was supposed to
have taken place? I'm too lazy to search through my tapes to find out, and
am not sure it was specifically mentioned anyway.

I superficially checked the ep and I can't give you a month but it was
definitely set in either spring or fall since the characters are all
wearing rather heavy clothing/ coats. The air was cool but there was no
snow. And Nick and Nat planted a tree at the end, so the ground wouldn't
have been frozen.

Heard from Uncle Bob last night. Nina and Pat are safe. So far. This
apparently scared him, too, because for the first time _ever_, he said he'll
be glad when they're home. Please keep praying for them, and I'll let you
