Subject: Slings and Arrows
I know Ger was supposed to be in the series. He's listed as an actor in the
show on The Movie Network's S&A page. On the IMDB site, seasons 1 and 2 are
listed but Ger's not mentioned anywhere. I can't figure out whether the show was
cancelled after 2 seasons of six shows per season, whether he's supposed to be
in season 3 and season 3 hasn't started yet, or they just left off his name.
I just caught the tail end of a marathon of season one shows on Sundance. Got
to see the last 2 eps and thoroughly enjoyed them. The first ep of season 2
comes on tomorrow night. I watched the two eps in hopes of seeing Ger, but of
course I didn't. I'd just like to know when or even if to watch for him.

The series has a great ensemble cast, including Colm
Feore Paul Gross, his wife Martha Burns and Leon
Pownall.

Proceedure generally doesn't differ day to night, though it may be different on
the east coast, I don't know. On the west coast, it's pretty simple. You bring
government issued photo id, usually a driver's license, and possibly a passport
and/or birth certificate. The customs officials will usually ask you any of
these questions, in no particular order:
Where you live
Where are you going (possibly the address)
How long do you intend to stay
Do you have anything to declare
Are you bringing alcohol or sums of money over $10,000
Are you bringing plants/animals/foreign objects
Additionally, they may ask to check your trunk/search your bags. In my
experience, Canadian officials tend to be tougher and ask more questions. Both sides
usually have a machine set up to take photographs of your license plates.
