I've been checking the "Upcoming Releases" section of the Sony site
and nothing...
I've been meaning to ask...
A while back Kristin had mentioned approaching Sony about possibly
submitting her videos. Any word on that?

No word on tvshowsondvd.com (which seems to be the
best source if there is nothing on Sony's website),
but I noticed that Season 2 was released around
January of last year after Season 1 was released on
October of the PREVIOUS year; I've bought three copies
of each boxed season. It may be that they don't
release until this summer if they follow the same sort
of schedule.

Subject: PRAYER: Update; (Son/Cardiac) Sugery In Process of Being Scheduled

Good Morning,

**Thank You Again;** I am so amazed (well, not really, this fandom is a
familydom!) the responses--I ~~think~~ I have answered all responses; sure hope
so......

My son saw his (new) Cardiologist yesterday (I was at my Ortho Doc) and called
me right after. Long story short, or as short as possible for ME <mini grin,
trying to maintain my sense of humor>, and the upshot is, it is best to do
the surgery NOW, not later. All of the things I saw and spoke of are true, and
are dangerous to his well being. Were his Cardiac Output to rise too high
during exercise, or if he became ill--the exercise is the more likely
culprit--it could well be a "WHAM," he's down, sort of thing.

Turns out he also has an (unrelated) small leak in his AORTA (itself), but
they don't plant to fix that, unless the Cardiac Surgeon in San Francisco
decides otherwise. Also turns out the "backwash" in his Pulmomic Valve is
within normal limits, so, I was indeed spitting in the wind about that ('s'ok,
I can be wrong sometimes too, LOL).

He is being referred to the KAISER ::::::::shudder::::::::: Cardiac Surgeon
ASAP, who will review the whole case, all of his records. Turns out they *do*
do this procedure there now, as it has become less complicated, less of a
risk. If the SF Surgeon feels at all uncomfortable, he will call in the UCSF
and Stanford Team.

My son seems calm enough; matter of fact--that is kind of how he deals with
stress. He has now gone to visit the retired Internal Medicine Doc (wrote
about her in an anonymous way before), so, that means my family knows; he had
asked me to keep quiet until he knew what was going on. Whereupon, she (Doc in
the family) canceled his College Loan debt and told him to "save for retirement."
He was already saving it to pay her back; which is what she had asked him to
do. GOD BLESS her, after everything she has been through, as someone said to
me! I believe she was looking to give him a sense of *future.* I talked to
her last night, and gave her more of an update, as she hadn't heard the whole
thing since my son went to *work* after seeing his Cardio.....wow.

As for the financial situation; I finally managed to get a real, live human
being at Calif. State Disability to tell me: "No, there is nothing wrong with
your Continued Claim! Your check will go out on Friday." Thank Heavens, I was
getting worried, even though it is only a partial check. I am supposed to go
see a GI Specialist, and a Psychologist, of all things, LOL, but I am
seriously thinking about maybe going ahead with the Shrink at this point for
support during this thing with my son....

The Job? I don't know yet; the **HR** folks told me it could be later in the
week, so I am not panicking. Other than that, all Recruiters and such are
getting politely put off; this is the only job I am currently physically ready
for due to my OWN surgery and its, well, <mini grin> "aftermath," as well as
the fact that I walk with forearm crutches much of the time, or "The Cadillac
(sp?) of Walkers" at the Mall, on uneven surfaces--for long walks, that is (as
per the instructions I got yesterday).....these folks KNOW all that; not all
employers are so understanding, no matter how "Equal Opportunity" they say they
are....

Thank you and God Bless you ALL.

Forever Hugs and Love, (Billie-Lee) Billie-Lee Williams, RN, etc. "Oh, Divine
Master grant that I may never seek, not so much to be consoled as to console,
not so much to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love with
all my heart. Amen." Saint Francis

Subject: Contest - Name that Series!

Hello all,
If you like my fiction, I would like to invite you to
submit thoughts for the "series" name of the post-LK
stories I have written (and am continuing...next one
is in the works.)

The two stories (technically they fall under
"novellas") thus far are "These Three" and "Family
Matters". I cannot come up with a name for the
"series" that I like, so what I'd like to do is invite
anyone interested to submit ideas for the "name" of
this series. The "winner" will receive his/her choice
of a short story about the character of their choice
with one - two elements of your choice (and you can be
one of the elements!) or else some really good coffee
from Seattle (Coffee capital of North America!) Or we
can negotiate if you don't like either of those
options.

So, if you haven't read the stories, they are at:

http://fkvoyage.com/fkfanfic/fife_kristen/these_three.txt

http://fkvoyage.com/fkfanfic/fife_kristen/family_matters.txt

This is the order in which they should be read. They
are NN stories, but LC figures prominently as do some
other characters, new and old.

Deadline for suggestions is February 22. Send your
suggestions directly to me at fenix23fyre@y......
