Thanks for keeping us up to date with the view of the loft. Are there any photos available? Sorry it took so dreadfully long. As most of you know, my husband is extremely ill and we almost lost him while he was on dialysis, so I've had my hands full for the last week and more. = This was an amazingly close one... the winner won by only one vote. And *everyone* commented on how tough the choice was for them this year, since both stories were exceptionally well written (I heartily agree!). So, without further ado, the winner is... Stacy Atchison's 'For this Reason'. Congratulations Stacy! For those of you who haven't read them, the stories are both wonderfully well written and the plot lines (in my opinion) are unique, so I recommend you check them out at: http://kc.descentintodarkness.net/YuletideAwards/awards05.htm I'd like to let you all know that I am planning to do the Yuletide Awards this year (2006), however I am going to change the requirements and (possibly) the structure. If there isn't an acceptable level of participation this year, I will quit doing them altogether. Mind you this isn't said to threaten anyone, it's just that I don't feel that it's something I can keep doing if there is only going to be two stories a year. The whole point of the Yuletide Awards was to generate more fanfiction (specifically Nick/Nat oriented). With my life being as stressful as it is right now, fanfic is my only form of relaxation, and when needed, an escape. God bless you all, and Happy New Year! KC Smith tigrlady2u@j....... Still, how can he expect people to "overlook my personal and religious beliefs," when he's making it a point run as a member of the vampires, pagans and witches party?? I'm sure I don't know why people would automatically assume he was evil just because he's a satanic dark priest. Golly, some people are so prejudiced. I don't think the Enforcers will bother with him. he says he wants to be taken seriously, but I doubt even they will. ;) chris ;? "I don't bite....
