Frightening, but rather thrilling.......I like that.
Talk about how to sum up Nunkies in four easy words.
Can it be done for any of the other characters, I
wonder?

Now that I've let that little challenge hang in the
air, I'll go back to lurking now.

How about this for the Knighties? Dense but rather handsome. I'll leave the
other factions to someone else for a change.

I just wish he had tried to lose some weight for this
role.

What? Your TV must project images different than mine. The man looks
wonderful. He looks about the same size as he was in Season 3, but more
mature. He's aging very nice, and looks great! I do think he's been working
out weights; his arms and chest seem broader.

He was really fat in season 3, too.

It was lovely to see him in HD (high definition)! How I wish FK could have
been filmed that way... Ger didn't look bad by any means. He's a lot bigger
than FK season 3, but he seems to be aging gracefully, overall. I hope they
plan to use him more in future episodes though. He was in tonight's episode
2 min max.

Interesting trivia for you: Brad Turner who directed 24 also directed many
episodes on FK.

OK, so I'm REALLY behind on my e-mail, so sue me <g>. But I figure one more of
these can't hurt.

Who are you, where do you live, what do you do?

Megan Thatcher, Taiwan, English teacher.

Who is your favourite FK character and why?

Depends on what you're asking. I've always loved LaCroix for his smooth,
confident style of evil (no hand-rubbing here!) and his dark, dramatic philosophy.
But given the choice, I'd rather meet Schanke. He just seems like a really
nice guy!

How long have you been a FK fan? How did you get started?

I'd just gone away to college and was looking on scifi.com for Quantum Leap
episodes when I saw an ad for Forever Knight. I thought it looked cool, so I
watched it the next night. I think the first ep I saw was Strings, I have NO
clue what was going on, but I liked it anyway.

Have you ever met anyone off the FK lists?

The FKSD crew, whom I miss terribly!

Favorite Episodes for each season?

First season: Only the Lonely, dont' ask me why.
Second season: that's a tough one. I'm going to have to go with either
Hunters or Close Call
Third season: Games Vampires Play, because that's the one that REALLY got me
hooked!

Other hobbies?

Reading, writing fanfic (I WILL start doing that again!), learning new
languages, music.

Family.

Yup, single, yup, one of ten kids, yup, oldest (no, I will NOT stop bringing
that up <G>) of triplets.

Have you ever met anyone famous?

Not that I know of, but I don't exactly pay attention.

FK Life Change

Started me writing, and led me to discover a deep facination with history.
I've also met some really cool people!

I think we should accept our favorite actors for the talent they have, and
not how they look. All of us grow older; get more wrinkles, gain weight--our
face and body change, but our talents and what we give to the world is
what's important.

I've seen all of the main FK characters since the show ended. Yes, they all
look older and are a bit heavier, but that doesn't diminish the talent of
these gifted actors. I'm very thankful for the actors who brought the
characters to life: Nick, Natalie, Janette, LaCroix, Schanke, and all the
other wonderful actors who made Forever Knight's characters the ultimate TV
show.

When I see the FK alumni in a TV show, play, whatever, I never view them as
if they should have been captured in time, in Forever Knight, looking the
same without change. I see them for the wonderful actors they are today, and
enjoy seeing them perform in a different role.

I didn't think so AT ALL. Ger might've been heavier than in the previous
seasons, but fat? Not at all.

Ok, this stuff about the weight is just horrible. Yes, his face
looked a little fuller but that happens when you get older. Or maybe
he's one of those people who, if they put on just 5 pounds, it shows
on their face. (my cousin is like that) I think he looked great!
You couldn't see much of his body though.

On another note, I thought was interesting that on the imdb, his is
the only character without a name.

To tie this to FK
1. Did anyone else notice that Jon Cassar is one of the producers.
2. Maybe this is Nick reborn to the community. Maybe he has
reaffirmed his 'dark side' and is playing with the mortal world. Hey
- it could work, his character is in a room with no windows and he is
controlling everything through electronics (phone, computer, tv) It
is very LC-ish behavior.

Please, let's drop the discussion of Ger's weight. Over the years we've found
that weight can be a flammable topic.

Thanks!

I may not be the only one who didn't see 24, so I'd like to hear about the
character he's playing. Anyone recognize any mannerisms or voice characteristics?
It was interesting to hear that Brad Turner directed, and I forget who else
from the production side is involved in 24. Those are all perfectly on topic,
btw, since it's about what people from FK are doing now.

Subject: FK site project

I was just checking out the syllabus for my web design class this
semester. The final project is to make a working site for a business
(real or fictional) that sells something or provides a service.

The first thing that came to mind was for CERK radio. That provides
a service, right?

It's just an idea now and won't be finished until may (I have to
learn this stuff)

To this point, we've only seen him in shadows or rather dark lighting, but that
distinctive voice is recognizable even before you see him. Because of the
lighting, I think it's difficult at this point to pick out
characteristics/mannerisms. I've been a fan of 24 since Season 1 and, based on the way things developed
in past seasons, I expect it may be a while before we find out more about his
character.

As for the production side, Jon Cassar has been involved with 24 from the
beginning. I think he's one of the producers. Alberta Watson, from La Femme
Nikita, played a very prominent role for a good bit of Season 4 last year and I
remember thinking then how nice it would be to see some of the FK actors in the
show. Who knows, maybe we'll see more FK alumni show up.

Mmm.

First guy who gave him a problem, LaCroix lifted him one-handed by the
throat and asked softly if there was going to be a problem with everyone
minding their manners in his presence.

That should do it.

either. I personally tink Ger looks wonderful. Its
nice to see him working again.
