Cheryl, JADFE stands for "James' And Darkangel's Forever Erotica" and is
THE classic site for FK adult fiction. It has been around for years.
Currently Lady Lacroix (who now owns it) is moving the site to a new

Well, my story "Strays", which is from rather a while ago and is, imo now,
clunky in its writing, is Nat rescuing Sydney, but it's from Nat's POV and may not
be the one you're thinking of.
