Dude, no! That would be so uncool. I'm working at the Red Cross!

Thanks. It's a lot harder than working at CERK. I actually have to be
helpful to people who are not self-proclaimed cousins! ;-)

BTW - if you can, go donate blood this month! Supplies get particularly low
during this time of year because people get so busy with holiday stuff and
tend to put off donating. Nick would want you to help. And I'm sure
LaCroix would be happy to help tap a vein. (Yeah, they don't like us making
vampire jokes, so don't tell on me. But I still say they ought to all have
dressed up as vampires for Halloween!)

Lots of donation centers are open on Saturdays and some are even going to be
open this Sunday, so think about stopping while you're out shopping. You
get *free* juice and cookies (the non-exploding kind)!

See how I brought that full circle? Go me!

In my part of the US, we still have a lot of evacuees aka "new neighbors"
from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Those disasters really, uhr, "sucked dry" a
lot of charities including the Red Cross (and Salvation Army, food banks,
church charities, etc....) making the need for blood and other donations very
high.

How is this on topic? Because you never know who your blood donation might
save. It is no secret Greg "Screed" Kramer had to have major surgery over a
year ago and I'm betting it involved a lot of blood (and unlike his television
dobbleganger, I bet Greg prefers human vintage<g>). Who knows, the person
your donation helps could have FK ties! It could be one of us...

I haven't never been allowed to give due to my once "too low" weight and now
some of my medications, but I hope to be allowed to in the future.
Meanwhile, donate for me ;-)

wasn't hired<g>)
