Subject: Thanks & (sort of) FK Moment

First of all, I'd like to thank you all (my FK family!) for the outpouring
of love and support. It's helped more than you can know. I am trying to
answer each email individually, but my time is limited online, so if you
haven't gotten a reply yet, I'll get to you as soon as I possibly can.

Now. I had a great semi-FK moment on Halloween. I was going to pick my
husband up from the dialysis center, and I had turned on a country station
(not my usual, but I was in the mood). This song came on that had me laughing
so hard, I had to pull over because my eyes were tearing up and my sides hurt.
It was a Halloween spoof of a Neal McCoy song (The Shake) called 'The Stake'.
The guy was doing a bad transylvanian vampire accent and singing words
something akin to: "What really scares me most, is the Stake. Crosses to the
left, garlic to the right, baby you know how to give me a fright..."

All I could picture was Schanke from 'Stranger Than Fiction' dressed up
and singing this song! Or better yet, Natalie torturing Nick with it as
they pass out candy to the kids in her apartment complex! It was a
laught that I badly needed.

Yeah, real comforting as you're drifting off under
anaesthesia.
