Subject: Birthday Thanks and Update on my Dad

I want to thank everyone for the Birthday wishes.

And I want to apologize for this blanket email, but I
don't have the time to write everyone individually.  I
leaving again tomorrow for L.A. to see my Dad.

As many of you know, my Dad has been in the hospital
since July 16th.  I have been going back and forth
between S.F. and L.A. for 3 months.  I just got back
last week, but my Mom called and so I'm driving down
again tomorrow.  A family member has been staying with
him 24 hours all this time.

The good news is that he was moved out of ICU last
week.  He has lost 50 pounds, but now can start
eating, so I hope he will now start to get stronger.

Anyway, this has not been the best birthday (or year)
for me.  But, as I said, I hope things will start to
turn around now.

I now have over 700 emails to deal with in this box.
But, I will try to use my sister's laptop to go
through them when I'm at the hospital.

Argh!  I had no idea you were near San Franciso!!  I'm
in Alabama, but I visited a friend in San Jose this
summer, and we spent a day in SF!  If had known, we
probably could've arranged to meet!

It never crossed my mind, though, to ask if anyone was
near enough to where I would be.  Shame on me :(  Oh
well, if I ever get back out there, Shael and I will
definitely hook up with everyone we can :)

Yes it is time to renew the site.  With all the stuff going on in her life
she forgets to renew the domain.  The entire site can be found on my
fkvoyage site, though.  She hasn't updated the site since I downloaded it
so everything is there.
