Oh, goodness, Kat. You tax my ancient, failing memory. I remember the
Shadowcon 2 vampire wedding, but the name of the couple escapes me
after all these years. Marcy Robin could probably tell us. No, I didn't
know the bride and groom well, but that remains the only vampire-theme
wedding I've ever been to. Closest I got myself was to sneak "Quentin's
Theme" into the music repertoire for mine. (The hyper-fundamentalist
Baptist church -- Tim LaHaye's church, as a matter of fact: ya'll may
have heard of him -- had no idea that it was from a vampire show.
They'd absolultely have had a seizure if they'd known!)

So no one out there has had a FOREVER KNIGHT theme wedding? Gee, so
many possibilities there... Tho I think I could do without anyone
duplicating Nick's gosh-awful Stay-Puff costume from his wedding
flashback, thank you. (!!)

I have actually been to a vampire wedding (and a Star
Trek Wedding, A Starwars wedding, a Transvestite
wedding and several Medieval themed weddings, I have
diverse friends, what can I say?)

Anyway, in this wedding the the cake had black and red
icing, the bride wore a deep purple satin dress with a
black cape and veil, and was carried down the aisle in
a coffin by 6 groomsmen/pallbearers. Her mother must
have been proud.

Oh come now, havn't you always wanted to marry a man
with thighs the size of large country hams? I think I
may require the groom at my wedding to wear that
outfit.

I of course will be wearing Nunkie's leather pants
from DFF. And Divia's kickass boots.

First: My mom gave me a check and the check number was
1228. I just couldn't get her to understand why I was
giggling. *sigh*

Second: I just bought a cheap poker game for the PC
and I was searching through the card back selecetion
and what do I find? The Toronto skyline! Now all I
need to do is to hack into the game and add the FK
logo to it and it would be the perfect deck of cards!

I met P.N. Elrod at MediaWest last spring, and she, too, is an enjoyable
character in her own right.

I have to tell a story on the both of us.

At an Oklahoma City convention years ago, we ended up eating breakfast
together. I had The Ratsie Wot Kilt Screed in my attache case, so she asked me
to put it on the table so she could get a picture.

Meanwhile, the waiter walks up behind her, opens his mouth to ask if we
needed anything, and doesn't manage to get a squeak out before noticing the
fat.
Pat didn't know this, but he jumped back, suddered and disappeared.

A bit later, Pat says, "I wonder what happened to our waiter!!!! He was
really good about checking on us when we first started eating... Now he's
disappeared."

Do you think they'd rent Kessel House for the event? That would truly make
for a very interesting uninvited guest list.
