Hi All,
I had what could loosely be considered an FK moment during the weekend.
Late Saturday night I was ironing a bunch of clothes.  When I was done  I
put them in the closet only to hear a loud CRACK sound as the pole in  the
closet snapped in half and dumped every thing on the floor.  So on  Sunday
I installed a new pole and put the broken pieces of the old pole in the trash.
Anyway, today when I pulled into my garage and saw the broken pole  pieces
in the trash I realized that they would be perfect stakes for vampire hunting.
They are between 3 and 4 feet long with really sharp pointy ends. I am sure
if LaCroix saw them he would say something about being too old and powerful
to be intimidated by them but I bet the other FK vamps would be scared!

Does anyone remember a story in which Nick disappears after Last Knight; Nat
and Lacroix search for him and fall in love in the process; they finally
find him in Paris where he doesn't remember anything about being in Toronto,
and has now married and has a little daughter - and then the Enforcers show
up.

If this sounds familiar to anyone, could you please let me know? I'd love to
read it again, but don't have a klew to either the title or author.

I remember that story---more details are that Nick is a painter and he's human,
right? And somewhat troubled (naturally, not remembering anything about himself
or his past).

But I don't remember the title or author.
