Nick started his quest for mortality in the early 1800's, although he still
killed for blood, usually only the guilty (ex. "Let No Man Tear Asunder").

"Love You to Death" is the turning point when he swore to stop killing all
together, but there are still moments when he does kill for blood such as
"Outside the Lines" and "Black Buddha" on the Titanic (although he could
have brought her across).

As to drinking human blood, he still did that on many occasions even in the
present day, especially season 3. Such examples include "Feeding the Beast,"
"Sons of Belial," "Night in Question," and "Games Vampires Play." Nick kept
human blood stored in packets in the fridge and also hidden for emergencies
like in FTB. It was also very likely that Nick often shared blood with
Janette on many occasions. "Crazy Love" was a good example of that, but it
was hinted even early season 1 that he probably often did this - in "Cherry
Blossoms" he would have bitten Janette if Nat didn't walk in. In addition he
bites Marion in "Blackwing," brings Richard across in "I Will Repay," brings
Janette back across in "Human Factor," and finally bites Natalie in "Last
Knight." And of course, he really enjoys his nature in "Games Vampires
Play."

Another interesting fact to note is in "Games Vampires Play" Natalie asks
Nick if he is really serious about his search for a cure and Nick never
answers yes. By the end of season 3 he seemed to be more engrossed in his
nature than ever (another reason why "Last Knight" really didn't fit IMO).
Even LaCroix states in "Human Factor" that he's 'regained a son.' Does Nick
really want to continue trying to be mortal? I think he was very close to
accepting himself for what he was by the end of season 3 and if Janette
hadn't been gone, he may have finally rejoined his vampire family.

interesting facts about Nick and killing.

Subject: My FK Music Videos Might Be a Feature on the Next DVD set

Hi everyone,

I have some exciting news to share! I may be able to submit my FK Music
Videos to Sony to use on the next DVD set as a special feature. Fans have
mentioned I should pursue this in the past and I just got another message
about it today, so I am giving it a try. I've been speaking with Gord at
tvshowsondvd.com and he is going to see if Sony is interested. The music
would just have to be cleared (like they do for popular tv shows such as
Alias and CSI). It may also help that I am majoring in film editing (even
though I am self-taught).

I know I can not send them all of my FK vids if they express interest at
all, so I am narrowing them down to the top 10 (top 15 max). I also can not
send videos older than November 2003 since I do not have those in DVD
quality. So, I need input from the fans! Which videos do you think are my
best work and most professional?

Off the top of my head, one of the best vids for the dvds would have
to be "What is FK..."  (is that in dvd format? I can't remember)

Umm, for the others I'd have to think a bit (ie go to your site and
see the lists to remind me)  but I would suggest probably one from
each category.

Yes, I really excited! I hope it works out. ;)

"What is FK" isn't in dvd quality, but I will still include it b/c it's been
a fan favorite for several yrs now. I can convert it (it'll just be a bit
blurry compared to the others). I'd love to here your faves from each
category though when you have time.

This is my list so far, about 30 vids... way too long... LOL... It's hard to
narrow it down out of nearly 100 videos for FK alone. The SCIFI logo is in a
lot of vids though. That could be a problem, but I am sure they could blur
it out or something.

Congrats Kristin, you deserve it if it happens.  I love your videos,
though they take so long to download,.

I love the Nick/Janette videos and any one of those would do.  My
personal favorites are "Self Control" and "Cells".
