I've noticed a decline in FK fan fiction posts, especially N&N stories. Is
anyone here working on a story that will be posted soon? If not, we need to
do something to get new FK fan fiction written and posted. The fan fiction
keeps the fandom alive!

I've been working on more original stories than fanfiction lately,
and all of the ideas I've had for FK are crossovers that cannot be
posted on FKFIC-L.

Tell real life to stay away from me and we'd be in business (although
I'm not so sure about the NN stuff ;-)

I actually have several stories going....

-The conclusion to my Alone series (and yes it *will* be the last
one... despite any possible requests for more) It definitely has a
N&N slant to it - the outline is finished, I just haven't been
motivated lately to actually write it. :-(
-A janette story is coming
- I have an outline started for an ep-like story (ie, crime that ties
into an event in Nick's past)

So there are some of us that are working on stories...
And if someone could find a way where I didn't have to answer the
phones at work, more would probably be done. :)

couch)

I have lots of stories in the works, they just never seem to get very far.
Ever since I started a blog, about three years ago, my fiction writing
seemed to take a dive. Not sure if it's connected or a mere coincidence :)
I was actually pondering a xover of FK and House (my new favourite show)
but not sure if it'll get past the thinking about it stage! But no N&N
stories from me ever I'm afraid <g>

I can't think of names right now, but the actress who played Erica in Last
Act is presently playing a/the leading role in Stargate Atlantis.

everyone who knows me personally knows I make fun of
everything, including and especially the things I
like. [I read Libs's "furever Ted" story and nearly
fell out of my chair at one point. (those who've read
it probably can guess which one.) Thanks, Libby.] I
heckle all of my favorite movies. I'm sure if anyone
were to parody any of my work--not that have have that
much to parody--I'd be flattered. I don't take
anything too seriously, often to a fault.

I am working on concurrent stories, two of which are
NN stories, one which is a short followup to my
"Family Matters" story (which I'm posting parts to
daily, and which can be found on the FTP site in its
entirety, link at the bottom in my autosig) featuring
Amy, Janette and some other new/old characters. I also
posted a vignette the other day which the Knighties
should have appreciated. :)

I don't know about everyone else, but I need to keep
my muse fed and watered, and "real life" has been very
intrusive lately. Not to mention the fact that I am
also trying to work on my original manuscript. Deb, I
know you said you had received a lot of interest after
your spot on Jewel's radio show. Has anyone from that
particular experience kept in contact with you? New
blood and all that.
