I agree Doris. Older sites should be put up for adoption if they are no
longer wanted.

It would be such a waste if the JADFE Archives totally disappear. Maybe
Steph had it archived. She seems to be the keeper of the FanFic Flame.

Thankfully I saved most of the NN stuff. If any one wants something e-mail,
and I'll see if I have it. But a word of warning...I'm terrible at trying to
remember names from discriptions. But if you have a title I will try my
best.

I downloaded the site on January 3 so I have the site up to that date
anyway.

I am uploading it now. I will post a note where it is when I get it done.

I have also emailed the ISP to see what is going on with their servers.
What ever is going on it is affecting the entire ISP and not just this site.

If any knows of any site that they think should be archived let me know
what it is and I will archive it. I have downloaded some sites, but I
may not know all the sites out there.

Greetings,

I have a very special update for you all. I just uploaded some rare Raven
music to the "Misc Stuff" section on my site. "Automaton" and "Glass Knight"
(used in For I Have Sinned) are from a group called United State which Fred
Mollin used to produce. I also added the full version of "Fan Kill" used in
Dying for Fame. Special thanks goes to Thomas for discovering United State
and sending me a copy of their album.

Enjoy,
Kristin

Greetings Listsibs,

I am back online after a several day absence during
which my computer underwent repair for an embedded
virus and hijacking. During the reformat I lost all
my bookmarks. Could someone who uses Netscape please
send me their Forever Knight bookmarks? I am also
looking for help with links for The Sentinel, Stargate
SG-1, BtVS/Angel, Smallville, etc.

whimpering,

Subject: UPDATE: Forever Knight by Deborah A. Hymon

ATTENTION: Please over look the mistakes; I'm exhausted, but wanted to
inform you guys what's going on in my life.

Due to many emails, I'm posting what's happening with my life and writing.

No, I don't plan to stop writing FK fan fiction for N&N!

I know I've promised to post Emotional Concert, Chapter #10, the final
chapter, and more of Second Chance, but my real life has prevented that. The
chapter is in rough draft, but needs to be edited which I'm finding
difficult to do because all my free time is spent on personal obligations.
Please know even though I'm now pursuing a professional writing career as a
romance author that I'll never neglect my first love, Forever Knight. EC's
Chapter Ten will take priority over other writing projects.

We had a major water leak here on Christmas Eve, and decided to add a much
needed, large addition, to our home instead of a minor repair and remodel.
The addition requires us filing for variances and other permits, which is
taking all my free time. However, it seems we're going to start construction
in about three weeks which should calm things down around here, and allow me
more writing time. Hopefully, once the decisions of products are made, and
construction begins, things will settle down.

I've been overwhelmed with emails wanting more of my FK work, and needed to
let everyone know what's going on. I promise to give FK first priority
before continuing work on my original manuscripts.

I also want to share some good news. Due to my two hour interview on the
radio talk show, Jewel's Way, about FK and fan fiction, I've had a publisher
and editor contact me. They've requested my original work. I've basically
told them the same thing I'm telling you guys, but they're willing to wait
for me to produce and submit, not giving me deadlines. I'm very excited and
thankful for their offer and patience. Hopefully, 2005 will be the year I'll
submit my first full manuscript to a publisher.

Thank you for all your past support and encouragement. I'll never forget how
FK fan fiction opened the door to my dreams. Pleas know that when things
settle down, FK fan fiction will be my first priority.

Sincerely,
Deborah

Thank You, Steph, for uploading yet another page to your server.

But I guess even Steph's seemingly vast server space has a limit. So I'd
like to take this opportunity again to call on people who have sites
they don't want anymore or can't keep anymore (for whatever reason), to
please put them 'up for adoption' on this list.

It would have been nice for you to tell us where to find this group's CDs so
they can be legitimately ordered, instead of depriving them of their royalties by
making their music available for free.

Napster was taken down for a reason, you know. This is illegal.

Guys, please, the FK music given away by someone who isn't the copyright owner
is dangerous. It's the same thing that got NAPSTER into trouble. If PSU gets
sued, it will certainly put us off and besides, neither Don nor I wants to be
liable. You may recall that the owners of the copyrights in NAPSTER succeeded in
suing violators for thousands of dollars.

Take the discussion off list. Now.

I guess we have to have a new rule. No offers of any kind without the
permission of the list owners, whether or not payment is involved.

This doesn't mean that offers will never be approved, especially if charity is
involved. It just means approval will be required and must be stated on pain of
being set to review.

Okay, I'm truly scaring myself here :) I had a dream last night involving
Forever Knight and Firefly. No, I'm not going to write it (I swear!!), but
I would be interested in reading such fic if it exists. Anyone seen such a
beast in their travels?

Nancy: Actually, this is an "out of print" vinyl record from 1984 (the band
does not appear to exist anymore). It pops up on ebay every few years or so (I did
post this info on my site, including pictures of the old album). I don't even
own the original, myself. If it weren't for my friend Thomas and I, you would
not have ever gotten the pleasure of hearing these songs.

Amanda: I am glad you enjoyed the music! It's nice to see some people
appreciate them.

   Nope. Not yet.
Was the dream you had coherent enough to describe?

< "jayne and screed were disgusting the finer points of the women
they had known. Janette was giving Inara hair-care tips. Tracy and
Kaylee were drinking coffee and practicing "spunky" while Natalie and
Zoe discussed the problems of lusting after men they couldn't have .
Meanwhile, Mal and Nick were being bone-headed while Preacher and
LaCroix were debating the philosophy of the human soul">

        I'd read a cross-over.

It was pretty coherent and interesting at the time, but as with most
dreams, the details drift away as the hours pass. Mostly all I recall at
this point was LaCroix, Janette, and Nick seeking passage on Serenity. And
one random thought of me thinking it's a good thing Nick speaks Chinese <g>
