Me too! I took the semi radical method of NOT pre-ordering but instead went
to my local Best Buy. I might have paid more than with my B&N reader's card
discounts but supporting merchants might be helpful in getting Sony to release
Season 3.

I don't have tomorrow off, although my boss would actually take "my Forever
Knight DVDs are here" as a legit excuse. Alas, I'm the one who processes the
time sheets so I have to be there. blah.

And you can't drop them back in the mail Saturday or Monday? You can't play
two, but 1 and 3-6 work, right? :-)

Yeah. I suppose I could. The sooner I get them back the sooner I get the new
ones. Maybe I will watch one tonight. Hmmmmm......

I'm a hopeless romantic, Love Nick and Schanke together with Natalie. I
love Schanke and Cohen together. LaCroix is my all time favorite, him
and Nick picking on each other.

Hi All,
I had an FK moment a couple of days ago...
I went to our local Build a Bear to make a cheerleader bear for a
coworker who is extremely ill. When I got home and looked
at the receipt I could not believe what I saw.
The cashier who rang up my sale was named RAVENETTE.

I like my NN fic (light mostly)but I'm also fond of
fics that have been written about when the chars were
kids...I've seen a LC one, a couple Nick ones and even
one Nat one. And I like crossovers if I know the show.
Buffy crossovers are fun or Highlander. Oh yeah and I
also like the LK continuations.

Wierdly enough though sometimes I'm also drawn to
agnst or torture fic.

Mel(and I tend to stick with fics rated R or below)

Agreed-- I love all the genres. The other deeply important thing for me is
charecterization. I love FK fanfic because I love the charecters involved, and it
really grates when the charecterization is not done well. Admittedly, these
are extrordinarily complex charecters, and 'good charecterization' could be any
one of many facets of a personality, but there are limits.

Prayed a lot, and dropped a fistful of bills into a Red Cross collection box.
Right now, that's about all I can do, though I wish I had the means for more.

Same here. I like interesting what-if scenarios, and well-written
crossovers and alternate universes as well as canon. Of course, I
love good Nick & Nat fics. I just wish I had more time to read.

My DVDs shipped Jan 3rd (and since they have to cross the Atlantic they
should be here sometime late next week)and I am really looking forward
to watching them.
But actually I have mixed feelings at the moment, since I can't watch
anything with GWD at the moment without wondering if his family is ok.
Knowing that they all love to vacation in the Tsunami region and that
his brother might have been in it.

Don't want to spoil your fun, just my sentiments right now.

Hi-
I posted a story "I will remember" to FKFIC-L hours ago and nothing
has come across. I was having a bit of trouble with my computer at
work, so I don't know what happened. I am wondering if it came
through for anyone else, or if I should resend it.
Thanks!
