Subject: Blood types

Hey yall,

I was watching my DVD's the other day and just noticed that all through
out 'Dark Knight' Nick and Nat talked about how vampires feed. I was
wondering if FK vampires have to have type O blood. If not, then why
all the drama through out the episodes? Not that I'm worried because I
have type O blood, I wouldn't mind being bitten by a FK vamp.

Romance, even in real life, without those things does not ring real. Emotions
of any sort are seldom simple. It makes for dull television and fan fiction,
and for a dull real life.

Not yet. McLisa will give us plenty of warning when there is.

Thank you!! I saved it onto disk a long time ago, but I can't find the disk at
the moment. Yes... it *definitely* should be in the coffee corner...

It was not the vamps in Dark Knight that were specifically after type o
blood. It was the ambulance guy who had something against homeless people
with type o blood because one of them supposedly infected his mother with
hepatitis. The museum guard that Lacroix made a snack of had type o too, but
that was coincidence.
Later Nat says something about them not having their own blood (therefore no
blood type), solely the one they have just ingested. Which wouldn't make
much sense in eps like The FIX, IMHO.

The hold ups have been (1) my work crisis, now resolved, (2) Don lives in
Florida where there's been so much hurricane disturbance, and (3) the fact that
he has to be away for training soon with an overlap part of the time I'm in
Toronto. There _will_ be a war, but it can't possibly start until after Oct. 12th
at the earliest. I apologize for the delay and for not remembering to keep the
rest of us informed.

Don and I send good wishes to everyone affected by the hurricanes in Florida --
which includes Don -- and the flooding in Virginia and anything else I may have
missed in the news.

In that same vein, I came across this announcement at
my alma mater. I was a Classics Major and check out
the classics department page every so often. If you
live in Dayton/Cincinnati/Indiana near Miami
University (of OHIO not Florida) it would be worth the
trip. (Link included)
